from an assault by 5 men in 2005, I have suffered being beaten/kicked in the knees, hips, lower back and stomach, resulting in arthritis,an hernia (umbilical, a horizontal tear in my diaphragm) and cartlege damage to my knees and hips. I would like to know if stem cell technology is able to help heal the hernia without radical surgery and repair/rebuild cartlege.
There is more on my body that I would like to have repaired but we’ll start there.

  2. I’ve been researching ARMD. I’ve read it’s something that might be helped with stem cell treatment. My Mom (88)suffers from ARMD…

I’m a bit worried it may be hereditary.

My question is if there is a limit on damage by ARMD that CAN’T be treated?

Incidentally, Mom has never smoked, and has eaten a fairly healthy diet all her life.
